WORKED EXAMPLE

A holiday can push the target beyond another weekend

Five working days after Friday, January 1, 2027 reach January 8 without extra closures. Closing Monday, January 4 moves the target to January 11.

Try the example in the calculator above. Change one input at a time and compare the target, interval and selected rules. For a longer explanation read Working-Day Deadlines: Weekends, Holidays and Start Rules.

Conventions to keep with your result

The starting date is excluded. A daily order cutoff or acceptance rule needs to be applied before choosing the start. The tool finds a date rather than a legal or payroll deadline.

Current dates keep moving forward. Today follows the selected calendar time zone. Rule-based Gregorian dates are generated for the requested year. A fixed input remains the visitor's chosen date. External holiday records require coverage for that year.
